Out of frustration of manually queuing up TV shows each week, and having a list of favourite shows on both TVRage and Newzbin I wrote a small script to pull your favourite shows iCal from TVRage and search Newzbin for unwatched episodes.
Unfortunately half way through development my feed changed and now I've got nothing to watch, so I've been unable to test it fully. But it should work...

Configuring JACK and PulseAudio on Ubuntu 9.10
This guide should get you set up to route audio through JACK from PulseAudio on Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic Koala) when you want without having to run JACK all the time.
Update: While this works it only works sometimes. I've found it to be incredibly unreliable and crash all the time.
